Brian Emery is the Director of Technology and Resources of the Filmmaking & Moving Image Arts Program and a faculty member at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY.  He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Brooklyn College.

 

He is an Apple Certified Trainer in Final Cut Pro 7 and X and is a Blackmagic Certified Trainer in DaVinci Resolve.  

 

Brian received his BA and MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College. 

 

His short films have been screened at over a dozen film festivals all over the world and his editing projects have screened across the US as well as internationally. His recent projects have taken him to Tanzania to film a documentary about Women Wildlife Scientists and to the Peruvian Amazon to film a documentary about Science Educators in the field.
